13th July 2017 Visit to France

Magstatt-le-Bas is a community  in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. This community has some very old building with was constructed back in the AD 1600's. We visited Bea and Christorpe who is leaving in one of the old structure which was constructed in 1602. They are retired pastors and bought this old building maintained it and keeping this old building alive. I was amazed to see such a old building standing.
They showed us around the building explaining the history of some part not renovated to us.
The formal occupants of the building were farmers and most of the people of the community were also farmers. 
After having a nice meal we went for walk around this community and Bea and Christorpe told us the some history of building farm lands and nice very old church with nice out side and interior design.
 We came back,  had a nice dessert and drove back to Arisdor.
